Vs 15 & 16: "15It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all. 16Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life."
Have you ever spoken to someone that isn't sure or even fears that God cannot save them because they are too big of sinners? Maybe they should consider the case of the Apostle Paul. It's hard to imagine that anyone could be worse than a blasphemer of God and one who persecuted God's church. But Paul found mercy and God demonstrated His grace, power and patience in his life. As followers of Jesus, we have experienced the same mercy!!
Oh Lord, please use my life to demonstrate your grace and power.
