The man and his wife were both naked and felt....shame?

Well I first must confess that I am not on the same reading plan as the rest of our church is on, so I do apologize that these posts probably won't be from the same passages you are in.

This morning God used Genesis 3:7 to convict me of some specific "guilt" and remind me that in Him there is no condemnation(Romans 8:1)

Genesis 3:7-8

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves [a]loin coverings.
They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the [b]cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

In Genesis 2:25 it says Adam and Eve were not ashamed, and now after they had sinned they quickly felt condemnation/shame/guilt and hid from God (its probably like playing hide n go seek with a toddler). When confronted with our sin it should lead to repentance not hiding. Watch the Driscoll video, its good.

2 Corinthians 7:10

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
10 For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance [a]without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
