Many prominent people have said that heaven can be likened to a mountain
top, where there are many paths that lead to the top. Others compare God to the center of a wagon
wheel, and say there are many paths to God, just as there are many spokes on
the wheel which lead to the center. The
Bible, however, says something quite different.
Peter, when questioned by the religious leaders of the time as to why he
was healing in Christ’s name, said about Jesus in Acts 4:12 “… And there is
salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has
been given among men by which we must be saved.”
Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, …“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes
to the Father but through Me.
What, then, are we to say?
We either believe the Bible, or reject it. There is no middle ground. Jesus is, as He says, either The Way, or He is a
liar. He is either the Only Way, or He
is no way at all.
I joyfully agree with Joshua on this one. Joshua 24:15 “… as for me and
my house, we will serve the Lord.”
