You aren't normal

Psalm 139: 13-16 says "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them".

I think one of the many ways the devil attempts to distract us from fully experiencing and enjoying a personal relationship with God is to make us feel "normal".  To make us feel that we are just like everyone else and why would the creator of the universe take time or even have the ability to personally know me, much less care about or love me?  Do you ever feel that way?  That you are just trudging through life, day in and day out.  REJECT that lie!

In Psalms, David reminds us that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made".  Even during the divinely designed pregnancy, God was watching over us, knowing everything about us, His eyes seeing our substance while we were still unformed.

If you think you are normal, if you think you serve little or no purpose while on Earth, think again.  God made you completly unique and completly wonderful.  So, Act like it!  No in a stuck up, conceded way, but in a loving "dying to self" way.  After all, He made us on purpose for His purpose!
